Mechanism of action of Glutathione

The oral use of Reduced Glutathione (L-glutathione) inhibits the Tyrosinase Activity. Once it has been inhibited, the metabolic pathway then reverses its course going to the synthesis of light pigmented melanin called Phaeomelanin instead of synthesizing dark pigmented melanin called Eumelanin. The cycle continuously flows as long as the presence of L-glutathione co-exists in the metabolic pathway of melanin. Finally, light skin will reveal to the surface gradually changing your complexion.

Glutathione:
Glutathione is said to be a small protein composed of three amino acids called cysteine, glutamic acid and glycine. Glutathione is produced by the body in response to the environment (including pollution), the water we drink, and the chemicals and pesticides found in the food we eat that damage our cells and systems.
Glutathione is usually referred to as the body's master anti-oxidant. It is said to be important in maintaining good health and long life. A person who is exposed to more toxins is said to use up his supply of glutathione. Without the protection of glutathione, cells will die at a faster rate, leading to quicker aging and a higher risk of developing diseases induced by toxins such as carcinoma. L-Glutathione is the reduced form of Glutathione and considered more effective in skin whitening.
Glutathione has the ability to lighten dark skin and pigmentations such as (dark acne scars, freckles, dark underarms, age spots, etc) because glutathione is proven to reverse the melanin's metabolism turning dark pigmentations (eumelanin) into light pigmentations (phaeomelanin).

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC):
Is the rate-limiting amino acid for the production of glutathione within the cells of the body; it has mucolytic properties, and is a powerful antioxidant and detoxifier. Some research indicates that NAC is more readily absorbed into certain cells of the body than glutathione and therefore is an excellent synergist with glutathione, and also can boost glutathione levels in cells.

L-cysteine:
L-cysteine is a protein amino acid that exists naturally as a protein in most living organisms. Although most cysteine is found in proteins, small amounts of cysteine are also located in body fluids and in plants in non-protein form. The average diet of most individuals contributes approximately 1 gram of L-cysteine daily.

L-cysteine is considered a nonessential amino acid, meaning that sufficient amounts are produced by the body itself. Cysteine is one of the few amino acids containing sulfur. This allows cysteine to bond in a special way and to maintain the structure of proteins in the body and aids in the formation of collagen, thereby promoting healthy skin, hair and nail. It improves hair quality and texture, and it is known to double the length of hair and also prevents hair from falling out. L-cysteine performs a number of functions in the body.
It is used to manufacture L-taurine and L-glutathione. Taurine is important because it plays a key role in central nervous system function. Taurine also helps to regulate blood pressure, helps maintain good vision and eye function, and aides in thermo genesis (fat burning) and muscle building.
L-cysteine supplementation elevates NAC - N-acetyl cysteine.
NAC is known to increase blood glutathione levels and preserve lean muscle mass. Therefore, the antioxidative and glutathione elevating effects of L-cysteine are attributed to its ability to raise NAC levels.
L-cysteine is essential for T-cell production and immune system activation. L-cysteine is also a component of human hair and is a component of the hormone insulin. L-cysteine can also be converted into glucose (for energy production) when blood glucose levels are low and this conversion may enhance athletic endurance and prevent muscle catabolism.
L-cysteine supplementation will be most effective when used in conjunction with vitamin E,
vitamin C, vitamin B6 and calcium and selenium.

Grape Seed Extract:
Grape seeds contain several antioxidants, including proanthocyanidins, which show some health benefits proanthocyanidins components in Grape Seed Extract are 50 times stronger than Vitamin E and 20 times stronger than Vitamin C. Grape Seed Extract is an antiallergenic, antihistamine, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant. It improve blood circulation and provide strengthening of the vessels. IT protect the skin from ultraviolet radiation damage that leads to wrinkles. Because it stabilizes collagen and elastin, it can help improve the elasticity and youthfulness of the skin.

Alpha Lipoic acid(ALA):
Alpha Lipoic acid is regarded by many as the supreme antioxidant. Alpha Lipoic acid is unique in that it functions as both a fat and water-soluble antioxidant that can easily cross cell membranes. Thus, it can confer free radical protection to both interior and exterior cellular structures. Alpha Lipoic Acid acts as an anti-aging nutrient by both its anti-oxidant properties and its anti glycation properties. It also boosts levels and recycles other antioxidants, such as vitamin C, vitamin E and glutathione.

Coenzyme Q10:
Quickly reduces the appearance of wrinkle, age spots and many signs of aging, fine lines , puffy eyes and dark circles. It has antioxidant effect, in other words, it will prevent damage to collagen and elastin production process and help you avoid wrinkles.

Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid):
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a water-soluble vitamin, which is necessary in the body to form collagen in bones, cartilage, muscle, and blood vessels, and aids in the absorption of iron. Dietary sources of vitamin C include fruits and vegetables, particularly citrus fruits such as oranges. Vitamin C effects pigmentation in two ways: The creation of melanin is an oxidative process and so a powerful antioxidant like vitamin C could counteract the oxidative process required to create melanin. Ascorbic acid also has a role to play as an inhibitor Tyrosinase. Tyrosinase is essential for the formation of melanin, so if it is inhibited then the action of pigmentation is reduced.

Rose Hips:
A superb source of vitamin C in addition contain supporting substances called bioflavonoids makes the absorption of Vitamin C in the body much easier and avoid kidney stones ..
Rose hip preparations have been used for thousands of years in many different forms. As their name implies, they come from the rose plant. They are the bulbs that remain after the petals fall off. Rose hips have been used over the years to treat infections of all types; they have also been used to treat diarrhea, skin problems, colds & flu, sore throats, fatigue, kidney problems, inflammation, stress and nervousness. They have been proven to be a superb source of vitamin C, having a much higher content than citrus fruit, they also contain vitamins E and K, the B vitamins riboflavin and folate. Rose hips have a tangy and sort of a sweet flavor and can be used fresh, dried, or preserved. The simplest use is to steep them for tea, but they can also be used in all types of foods and supplements.
An extract of rose hip without its seeds, contains pure Vitamin C (ascorbic acid). Most of the rose hip supplement preparations used on the market today are combined with vitamin C in one form or another. The use of the two together has been shown to enhance the over all affect, mostly because of what rose hips contains. Rose hips contain supporting substances called bioflavonoids such as rutin, hesperidin and much more which in turn, makes the absorption of Vitamin C in the body much easier. Adding rose hips to a product like this only enhances it; it can help to prevent skin wrinkling and will strengthen the blood vessels reducing the body's ability to bruise. Rose hips and Vitamin C are not stored in the body for lengthy periods of time, so they can be taken daily to ensure the maximum effect.

Vitamin E (D-alpha toco succinate):
Enhances the texture of the skin by making it smooth and so with its moisturizing qualities. It helps skin look younger by reducing the appearance of ne lines and wrinkles by increasing the elasticity of the skin. Scientic research indicates Vitamin E can also reduce the appearance of acne scars. Vitamin E promotes healthy circulation to the scalp and to the hair follicles. is helps hair growth and regrowth of lost hair.

Vitamin B-6 (Pyridoxine HCL):
Helps in the proper absorption of L-cysteine.

Selenium:
Selenium is necessary to the antioxidant glutathione peroxidase which helps protect the body, Selenium also preserves tissue elasticity, and slows down the aging and hardening of tissues through oxidation.

Why Enteric Coating?!

Enteric coating has been extensively used for many years with pharmaceutical drugs (which is one of the reasons why drugs work so well and so quickly). Enteric coating provides a protective layer on a tablet/capsule as it passes through the stomach. Once the tablet/capsule reaches the duodenum (small intestine) the coating reacts to the alkaline environment, strips away and the tablet/capsule contents are released. Nutrients in supplements enter the blood stream via the small intestine. That's the way nature designed to happen. Just like when we eat food - the nutrients are eventually delivered to the intestine for absorption. Enteric coated nutritional vitamin supplements do not have to be taken with meals – as in the case with non-enteric coated tablets/capsule.

vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) and kidney stones?

High dose of Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) may cause kidney stone.. The intake of large amounts of vitamin C may contribute to the formation of oxalate-type kidney stones because of the metabolic conversion of vitamin C to oxalic acid. If the amount of oxalic acid in the urine increases as the dose of vitamin C increases, they reasoned, then a prolonged intake of large amounts of vitamin C may cause kidney stones.

For that we added Rose hip because it contain substances called bioflavonoids makes the absorption of Vitamin C in the body much easier and avoid kidney stones.
